My counseling approach places a strong emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship as the foundational and guiding force in fostering meaningful and lasting change. I firmly believe that every individual possesses the innate ability to heal, grow, and move forward in their personal journey.
In my practice, I utilize a range of evidence-based methods including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to support clients effectively. As a trained Art Therapist, I also incorporate a variety of creative modalities into therapy, adapting each session to address the unique, evolving needs and goals of every client.
I specialize in working with young adults navigating significant life transitions, parents, and other adults aged 18+ who present with anxiety, relationship challenges, and stress related to managing and balancing the many demands of their busy lives.
In my downtime, I recharge through exploration and creativity. I love sharing experiences with my husband and children - whether we’re visiting museums, discovering new places, or relaxing at the beach. I’ve also spent many years developing a fine art photography portfolio that continues to inspire my work.
